Nauta Raises $7M to Build an AI-Native Supply Chain Platform
Nauta is the AI solution for performance excellence in supply chain, bringing documents, tracking data, ERP inputs, and email threads into one place so operators no longer have to jump between systems.
What is Nauta in practical terms?
Nauta is a the AI solution for performance excellence in supply chain. We bring together documents, tracking data, ERP inputs, and even email threads into one place, so operators no longer have to jump between systems. At the container level, the platform applies business logic and automates routine workflows, helping teams work faster and respond to disruptions before they escalate.
Why raise now, and why focus on importers first?
Importers are under immense pressure right now. Global supply chains are being reshaped, and every change increases the complexity of moving goods across borders. With many running their businesses on emails and spreadsheets, they often spend more time reacting to problems than preventing them.
Raising now allows us to build the AI-powered control layer these importers need to get ahead of potential problems, make faster decisions, and protect their margins. Starting with importers lets us bring structure to one of the most fragmented and overlooked parts of global trade.
How is this different from a visibility tool or a TMS add-on?
Visibility indicates that something is late, while orchestration provides guidance on what to do about it and executes the next step. Nauta does both. We connect to the systems operators already use, reconcile their data into one control layer, and surface recommended actions that reflect the shipper's rules, service levels, and constraints.
What outcomes are customers seeing so far?
Since launching in Q1 2025, customers report detention costs reduced by up to 80%, operator productivity up 30%, and container processing times improved by as much as 75%. These gains come from fewer manual touches, earlier exception handling, and clearer ownership of the next action on every shipment.
Who is using Nauta today?
We are working with importers and distributors across seven countries, including teams that handle globally recognized brands like New Balance, Ashley Furniture HomeStore, L'Oréal, Modelo, and Moët & Chandon. These are sophisticated operators that want fewer blind spots and faster decisions at the container level.
How will you use the new funding?
The new capital will support Nauta's global expansion and help build out our sales and partnerships teams. Our goal is to make it easier for importers to get started, see value quickly, and have a consistent experience no matter where they operate.
Who invested in the round?
The seed was led by Construct Capital with participation from Predictive. We also have support from experienced operators and founders, including Simón Borrero of Rappi, Waikit Lau of RemoteHQ, and Juan Jose Gonzales of Windmar Energy, along with early customers and partners, such as Soriana.
Where does AI drive the most impact for importers right now?
Nauta uses AI to turn scattered shipment data into a single system of action. By automating routine workflows and connecting disconnected systems, we help operators spend less time chasing information and more time keeping goods moving. That means fewer delays, more predictable costs, and stronger cash flow.
